Letter from the President

The IFPTA looks forward to an exciting future

Buddy Greene, IFPTA President

Buddy Greene, IFPTA PresidentFellow members, it is an honor to be appointed to the office of the President and it also comes with sadness as to the reason why.  Paul Doiron was a great person and leader who demonstrated his passion to see the IFPTA succeed for all our members.

There are many members I have not had a chance to meet and I look forward to that opportunity. I have been a member of the IFPTA for 27 years and been permitted to serve on the Board of Directors and as Vice President over the last 21 years. The current Officers and Directors are an excellent combination of companies, countries and industries - and they each represent different expertise and talent that provides representation for all the members.

These Officers and Directors are continuously working in selected committees to improve the Association in the areas of strategic planning, Symposium site selection and planning, membership, and regional seminars to enhance the value of the association and increase the networking opportunities available to everyone.

The IFPTA looks forward to an exciting future.  The last few years have seen unprecedented changes to the world economy and our industry.  As a global network of industry professionals, the IFPTA has been at the forefront of looking at these changes and what they might mean.

In all the years I’ve been involved with the Association, this is one of the best and most involved Boards I have known.  I am excited about the work ahead and am happy to serve as your president.
