PPI Transport Symposium 19 Adds Dynamic New Speakers from Around the World to the Conference Program
Conference Program to Tackle Growth and Sustainability Challenges Facing the Industry

BRUSSELS, July 20, 2011– Forest products logistics professionals from around the world will gather at the PPI Transport Symposium 19 to hear about the growth and sustainability challenges facing the industry. Organized by RISI and the IFPTA (International Forest Products Transport Association), the biennial Symposium will take place at the RAI in Amsterdam from October 11-14.
Through a series of panel discussions, led by industry insiders, the program will feature high level executives from forest products companies, shipping lines, logistics providers and other major companies throughout the marketplace, including:

For the first time in the history of the Symposium, the conference program will also feature two special sessions hosted by CEPI (Confederation of European Paper Industries). These new sessions will explore the new EU policy regarding transportation emissions, sustainable transport for the pulp and paper industry, and emissions reductions.
